About WIND VENT ROOFING

As wind pushes up against a building’s walls, it is forced vertically at greater speeds until it meets oncoming winds above the building. This mixture of wind streams creates a swirling or uplift negative pressure effect due to differences in pressure.

The internal positive pressure of a building makes it’s roof system particularly vulnerable to being torn away by high winds.

Wind Vent Roofing solves this problem, by introducing vortex valves into an air sealed roof system. Helping the roof to achieve a suction or vacuum effect. The harder the wind blows, the strong it’s holding effect.

About TEMPLOK PCM

Templok PCM tiles are laid as a layer within the Wind Vent system, or any commercial roofing system. The PCM contained within each sealed cell is designed to freeze or melt at a specific temperature. eg. 25ºC/78ºF.

As the roof increases in temperature, the PCM inside the Templok panels melts and absorbs heat. Stopping the flow and increase in heat. Resulting in substantially lower roof assembly temperatures.

At night when conditions are cooler, the PCM refreezes and releases this heat back to the atmosphere.

Unlike insulation which “slows” the flow of heat, the Templok PCM “STOPS” the flow of heat in it’s tracks!
